The EV charge point at Swimbridge Jubilee Hall is now open for public use. It is an untethered unit, so users will need to provide their own cable. The charge point is rated at 22kW, but most vehicles are limited to AC charging at 11kW. Charging costs 45p/kWh and is managed by the MONTA CHARGE app (available on Apple and Android), where you will need to enter payment details before starting a charge.
There is a QR code on the device with a link to the MONTA CHARGE app if required. Please follow instructions and it is fine to start your charge straight away. There is no reservation feature at the moment - it is first-come, first-served, but please only use the single car park space adjacent to the charge point when charging, to allow access for other users.
Finally, please ensure your cables are left tidily when charging.
